This Museum of Flight Tower was designed by Gregor Architects which is a multi-disciplinary small architectural firm providing a full range of services for architecture, planning and interior design for commercial, institutional and residential projects.

To take advantage of the Museum’s unique site, located on an active runway, the Simulated Air Traffic Control Tower is located at the east side of the existing building overlooking the Boeing Air Field.

First in the Nation to showcase a live air traffic control system, the building was selected by the Seattle American Institute of Architects as Project of the Month for October 1997. The project was also published in the June 1997 issue of the national AIARCHITECT publication.
